What Kinds of Foods Can You Make in a Slow Cooker?

Slow cookers are a great way to cook food without having to watch it constantly. You can add ingredients in the morning and have dinner ready for you when you get home. The only downside is that not all slow cooker recipes are healthy, so here are some of the best healthy slow cooker recipes on the internet.

I will share with you some of my favorite crockpot recipes that I like to make on Sundays and then eat throughout the week. My favorite recipe is for lasagna because it’s a great dish that can be made ahead of time and freezes well.

Tips for Serving Slow Cooker Glazed Orange Poppy Seed Cake

The best way to serve a poppy seed cake is with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

-Place the cake on a serving plate and top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

-Warm the cake by placing it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes before serving.

Step 4

Spoon the batter into the prepared slow cooker and smooth the top. Place a paper towel under the slow cooker lid, then cover it tightly. Cook on a high-heat setting for 1½ hours.

Step 5

Transfer the glazed orange poppy seed cake onto a cooling rack. Peel off waxed paper and allow it to cool completely on a cooling rack.
