    Slow Cooker Chicken Livers Marsala Recipe

Slow cooker Thai chicken wings. Spicy chicken wings cooked in a slow cooker and served with homemade peanut sauce. Very delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2½ pounds (1.5 kg) chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) salsa
  • 2 tablespoons+1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons+3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced

Method

Step 1

Place chicken wings in a 3½-4-quart(3-4l) slow cooker.

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl, combine salsa, peanut butter(2 tbsp), lime juice, soy sauce(2 tsp), and ginger. Mix well and pour salsa mixture over chicken wings. Toss well to coat.

Step 3

Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 5-6 hours.

Step 4

Drain chicken wings and discard cooking liquid. Return chicken wings to slow cooker. Gently stir in peanut sauce(recipe follows). Serve slow cooker Thai chicken wings Immediately.

Step 5

For Peanut Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine sugar, peanut butter(1/4 cup), soy sauce(3 tbsp), water, and minced garlic. Stir well and cook over medium-low heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth. Set aside and allow to cool and thicken.
