- 3 pounds (1.5 kg) chicken wings
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger,grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic,peeled and minced
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut off and discard wings tips. Cut each chicken wing into 2 pieces.
Line baking pan with aluminum foil. Arrange chicken wings in a single layer in preheated oven. Bake for 20 minutes.Drain off fat.
In 3½-4-quart(3½-4l) slow cooker,combine hoisin sauce,honey,ginger,sesame oil and garlic. Mix well. Add chicken wings and stir to coat with sauce. Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 4-5 hours.
