A Mississippi Roast is a dish that is made with meat, vegetables, and sauce. The meat is often pork but can be beef, turkey, or chicken. There are many variations of this dish, but the main ingredients are always the same.
The Mississippi Roast is cooked at low heat for a long time. But there are other recipes that cook faster than this one. For example, a slow cooker recipe will cook in four hours while other recipes might take six hours or more to cook.
