Slow cooker Parmesan bread. Italian bread slices with Parmesan cheese and margarine cooked in slow cooker.Delicious!
- 1 small loaf Italian bread,sliced
- 6 tablespoons margarine,room temperature
- 1/3 cup (80 g) grated Parmesan cheese
Cut Italian bread into 6-8 slices,cutting to but not through bottom of loaf.
In a mixing bowl,combine Parmesan cheese and margarine. Stir well and set aside.
Spread both sides of bread slices with Parmesan mixture.
Wrap loaf in aluminum foil and place in slow cooker.
Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 2 hours.
