Slow Cooker Raspberried Chicken Drumsticks

- 3 chicken drumsticks,rinsed and patted dry
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) raspberry jam
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- toasted sesame seeds
- chopped green onions
In a small mixing bowl,combine soy sauce,mustard,jam and black pepper. Mix well. Brush soy mixture on chicken.
Place chicken in a slow cooker. Pour remaining soy mixture over chicken drumsticks. Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 5-6 hours or until drumsticks are tender.
Remove cooked chicken from slow cooker. transfer on serving platter and keep warm.
Switch slow cooker to high. In a small mixing bowl,combine cornstarch and cold water. Stir until cornstarch dissolved. Stir cornstarch mixture into cooking juices in slow cooker.
Cook,uncovered,on high-heat setting,stirring occasionally for 10-15 minutes or until sauce thickened. Spoon over chicken drumsticks.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve warm.
