Smoky tomato bisque is a hearty, rich, and flavorful soup you can enjoy year-round. The best part? It’s easy to make and requires just 10 minutes of prep time! This tomato bisque is made in the slow cooker, so you don’t have to babysit it. So convenient!
Why the Slow Cooker Is Good for Soups?
The slow cooker is good for soups because it allows you to make your soup without having to stir it constantly or heat the stove. Soups made in the slow cooker are also more flavorful than those made on the stove.
The slow cooker is good for stews because they are cooked on low heat and allows you to cook them all day long without worrying about burning them or making them dry.
How to Add Flavor Using Spices and Herbs in Your Smoky Tomato Bisque
Many spices can be used to add flavor to your food. These spices include salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, oregano, and thyme. When cooking in the crock pot you can use any combination of these spices. You can add some herbs to your dishes, such as basil or parsley.
