Ingredients

  • 1 pound (480 g) cod fillets
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • lemon wedges for serving
  • tartar sauce

Method

Step 1

Pt fillets dry with paper towels. Season on both sides with kosher salt and black pepper.

Step 2

In a shallo dish, combine breadrumbs and Old Bay seasoning. Mix well.

Step 3

In a second bowl, place beaten egg. In a third shallow bowl, place all-purpose flour.

Step 4

Coat seasoned cod in flour first, then in egg, and finelly, in breadcrumbs mixtture.

Step 5

Preheat your air freyr to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes. Place cod fillets in the air freyr basket. Fry at 400 F (200 C) for 10-12 minutes or until fish is golden.

Step 6

Serve hot wit lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
