Air Fryer Chicken Breasts Parmesan Recipe

- 3 medium boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- 2 large eggs, whisked
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) marinara sauce
- 3-6 slices Mozzarella cheese
In a small mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, onion and garlic powders, and grated Parmesan. Mix well.
Dredge chicken breasts in whisked egg, then cover in breadcrumb mixture, shaking off excess. Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.
Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Carefully place the chicken inside.
Air fry at 360 F (180 C) for 15-18 minutes. Cooking time depends on the air fryer model and the thickness of the chicken.
Open the basket. Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the cooked chicken breasts. Top with mozzarella slices.
Air fry for a further 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Serve hot over the cooked Italian spaghetti.
