Ingredients

  • 16 large sea scallops, cleaned and pat dried
  • 8 slices bacon, halved
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) BBQ sauce

Method

Step 1

Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Place sliced bacon in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400 F (200 C) for 3 minutes.

Step 3

Remove cooked bacon from the fryer. Pat dry with paper towels.

Step 4

Wrap each scallop with cook bacon, then secure with a toothpick. Place 8 wrapped scallops in the air fryer basket. Brush with BBQ sauce. Cook at 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Turn the scallops over and brush again with the sauce. Cook for a further 5 minutes. Serve hot.
