Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) coconut oil
- 2 oz (60 g) dark chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 2Β½ tablespoons water
- 4 eggs, whisked
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon anise star
- 1/4 teaspoon coconut extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon clear honey
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- shredded coconut, for garnish
Method
Step 1
In a microwave, melt the coconut oil and dark chocolate. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted chocolate mixture, sugar, water, whisked eggs, cinnamon, anise, honey, coconut extract, and vanilla. Mix well, then stir in all-purpose flour and desiccated coconut.
Step 2
Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes. Grease the baking dish with unsalted butter. Transfer the chocolate-coconut mixture to the greased dish.
Step 3
Put the dish in the air fryer. Bake at 355 F (180 C) for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Remove baked brownies from the fryer. Allow to cool. Slice it into squares. Sprinkle with shredded coconut before serving.
