Ingredients
- 1/2 pound (240 g) jumbo lump crab meat
- 1 large egg, beaten
- juice of half lemon
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
Method
Step 1
To Make the Crab Cakes: In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except all-purpose flour. Stir well.
Step 2
Divide the crab mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion with your hands. Sprinkle each patty with the flour.
Step 3
Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Place the crab cake in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Sprinkle with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 5
Fry at 375 F (190 C) for 10 minutes, flipping once during the cooking time. Serve hot.
