Ingredients
- 1 pound (480 g) ground pork, beef, or chicken
- 1/2 yellow onion, peeled and minced
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- dash of freshly ground black eppper
- For Coating:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs for dredging
- 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
Method
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, minced onion, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, milk, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Step 2
Kneading the mixture well with your hands will make it turn light and sticky texture. Divide the mixture into 5-6 patties.
Step 3
Place all-purpose flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in 3 separate bowls. Coat the patties in flour first, then in eggs, and last in breadcrumbs. If you wish, you can press the patties into the panko to get a nice breading.
Step 4
Coat each side of the cutlets with olive oil spray. Working in batches, place patties in the air fryer basket. Fry at 370 F (185 C_) for 8 minutes, turning them halfway through.
Step 5
Increase the heat to 390 F (195 C). Fry for a further 2 minutes. Repeat with remaining patties. Serve hot.
