Ingredients
- 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into cubes
- 1 cup superfine sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 6 tablespoons all-pupose flour
Method
Step 1
Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.
Step 2
In a microwave-safe bowl melt unsalted butter and chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Mix until smooth.
Step 3
Stir in sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and peppermint extract. Fold in all-purpose flour.
Step 4
Grease and flour four 4-oz ramekins, then pour in the batter (do not overfill) Place ramekins in the air fryer basket.
Step 5
Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until internal thermometer reaches 160 F (80 C).
Step 6
Remove air fried cakes from the fryer and let stand for 5 minutes. Carefully remove from ramekins and transfer to a serving plate. Serve hot.
