What is the difference between an air fryer and a traditional oven?
Using an air fryer is healthier because the food doesn’t come in contact with heated oil and there is no need to add oils or butter. It’s easier than a traditional oven too because it doesn’t require a lot of clean-up.
Air fryers are also good for those people who don’t have the time to cook their food on the stovetop because having a lot of dishes can be difficult.
What are the ingredients needed to make chicken in an air fryer?
These are the ingredients needed to make peanut-coated chicken breasts in an air fryer:
– chicken breasts
– kosher salt
– black pepper
– paprika
– mustard
– honey
– pecans
What is the cooking time for this recipe in an air fryer?
An air fryer cooks food quickly and evenly, without oil or water. It uses hot circulating air to cook food in a sealed metal basket. Low-temperature cooking creates moist, juicy foods.
Air fryers are great for cooking thin, delicate foods like chicken breasts that can easily get overcooked when exposed to high temperatures like those found in ovens and grills. When cooking food in an air fryer, it’s important to remember that the time it takes to cook depends on the thickness of the item being cooked and the wattage of your appliance.
The maximum cooking time for peanut-coated chicken breasts is 12 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit with a wattage of 1000 watts.
