Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 ml) buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 pounds (960 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1½ teaspoons Stone House Seasoning

Method

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine hot sauce and buttermilk. Whisk well.

Step 2

Add chicken breasts to the buttermilk mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Step 3

Preheat your air fryer to 370º F (185º C). Remove marinated chicken breasts from the refrigerator.

Step 4

In a large shallow dish, combine all-purpose flour and Stone House Seasoning. Stir well to combine. Pour in 1/4 cup (60 ml) of the buttermilk mixture and mix well to incorporate.

Step 5

Remove half of the chicken breasts from the buttermilk and dip them into a dry mixture. Turn them to coat well with the mixture.

Step 6

Grease the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. Arrange seasoned chicken in one layer in the basket, making sure they are not touching. Sprinkle the chicken with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 7

Cook in the preheated air fryer for 10 minutes. Using tongs, turn the chicken over and cook for a further 10 minutes.

Step 8

Once the first batch is done, prepare the second one. Repeat the steps for cooking. Enjoy!

    What kind of seasoning is Stone House Seasoning. I have not noticed it locally. Is there a substitute?

      Stone House Seasoning includes sea salt flakes, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
      You can prepare it at home: All you need to do is pull out your ingredients, measure out a few tablespoons and mix it all together to end up with the best ever homemade house seasoning.
