Air Fryer Tempura Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds (960 g) large raw shrimp, peeled, tails intact
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons water
- 2½ cups Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Method
Step 1
In a medium mixing bowl, combine beaten eggs and 2 teaspoons of water. Whisk well.
Step 2
Dredge shrimp in all-purpose flour, then shake off any excess. Dip dredged shrimp into egg mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Transfer breaded shrimp to a baking sheet. Cook at 350º F (175º C) for 7-9 minutes.
