Fried Lobster Cream Cheese Wontons Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 oz (240 g) cream cheese
- 8 oz (240 g) lobster meat, chopped
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1 package (42 pcs) wonton wrappers
- 1/2 teaspoon sriracha hot sauce
Method
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped onion, hot sauce, and egg. Stir well and add chopped lobster meat. Mix again and set aside.
Step 2
Use a small bowl of water to help seal the edges of wonton wrappers. Working in batches, place 1 teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the center of each wonton square. Wet the wrapper with your fingers all along four sides.
Step 3
Fold them diagonally, corner to corner, and pinch the wrapper together to seal.
Step 4
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Working in batches, drop wontons in boiling water and remove then they begin to float.
Step 5
Arrange boiled wontons on a cooling rack and drain them. Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Working in a batch, fry wontons on each side until golden brown. Serve lobster wontons hot!
