Oven Baked Pirozhki Recipe
Ingredients
- 7 ½ oz (225 g) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz (240 g) liver pate
- 1 large egg, beaten
Method
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400 F (200 C).
Step 2
Poll out dough very thinly on a floured surface. Cut dough into 3-inches (7.5 cm) squares. Cut in half diagonally to make triangles.
Step 3
Place about 1 teaspoon liver pate on each half of triangles. Moisten dough edges and cover with remaining triangles. Press edges together to seal.
Step 4
Place stuffed triangles on greased baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg.
Step 5
Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until risen and golden. Remove baked pirozhki from the oven. Transfer to serving platter. Serve hot.
