Slow Cooker Beef and Bean Soup Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 cups (2 L) water
- 1 pound (480 g) meaty beef chunks
- 2 cans (15 oz (450 ml)) each kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 14½ oz (435 ml) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup cubed potatoes
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
