  • 3 pounds (1.45 kg) chicken wings
  • 1 ½ cups (370 ml) bottled barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) clear honey
  • 2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Step 1

Cut off and discard chicken tips. Cut each chicken wing at joint to make 2 sections.

Step 2

Place chicken wings on an unheated rack of broiler pan. Broil 4-5 inches (10-12 cm) from the heat for 15-20 minutes or until chicken wings are brown, turning during cooking once. Transfer browned chicken wings to a slow cooker.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour over chicken wings.

Step 4

Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 3-4 hours.

instead of putting honey in you could just use honey that is already in the barbecue sauce much easier and if you put the chicken wings under a broiler and then put them in a slow cooker they would fall apart then i would put them in the slow cooker just skip putting them under the broiler and put the sauce on and follow the step on how to cook them they will still get done and taste good
