Ingredients
- 2 pounds (960 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups (500 ml) salsa
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
Method
Step 1
In 5-6-quart (5-6L) slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Mix well.
Step 2
Cover the pot and cook on low-heat setting for 3-4 hours or until chicken is tender.
Step 3
Turn off the cooker and open the lid. Remove cooked chicken breasts from the crock pot and transfer to a cutting board. Using two forks, shredded the meat, then return to the cooker. Toss well with cooking liquid.
