Slow cooker keto burrito beef recipe. Learn hot to cook delicious and healthy beef for Mexican burritos in a slow cooker. I used Homemade Green Taco Sauce to make this recipe.
Slow Cooker Keto Burrito Beef recipe
- 2 pounds 9960 g) beef chuck roast, fat trimmed
- 4 tablespoons green taco sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
In a 6-quart (6 L) slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Mix well.
Cover the cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 8 hours or until beef is tender.
Turn the pot off and open the lid. Using tings,remove cooked meat from th slow cooker and tarnsfer to a cutting board. Using two forks, shred the meat.
Mix shredded beef with 1/2 cup (125 ml) cooking liquid. Serve it wrapped in lettuce leaves.
