Slow Cooker Honey-Mustard Chicken Wings
- 3 pounds (1.44 kg) chicken wings
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) clear honey
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
- 4 lemon slices
- sesame seeds
Cut each wing at joint to make 2 pieces. Season with salt and black pepper.
Place on broiler pan and broil 4-5 inches (10-12 cm) from heat about 5 minutes per side. Transfer broiled chicken wings to slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, combine honey, barbecue sauce, mustard, and garlic. Mix well and pour mixture over chicken wings. Top with lemon slices.
Cover crock pot and cook on low-heat setting for 4-5 hours. Before serving, remove and discard lemon slices.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve slow cooker honey-mustard chicken wings hot.
