Slow cooker mixed berry cobbler.Very easy and delicious dessert cooked in slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 16 oz (480 g) frozen mixed berries
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2¼ teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) milk
- 1/2 cup butter,melted
- vanilla ice cream
Method
Step 1
Lightly grease 4½-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. In medium mixing bowl,combine berries,granulated sugar,tapioca and lemon peel. Stir well. Transfer mixture to slow cooker.
Step 2
For Topping: In medium mixing bowl,combine flour,brown sugar,baking powder and nutmeg. Add milk and butter and stir until blended.
Step 3
Drop spoonfuls of dough on top of berry mixture. Cover slow cooker and coo on low-heat setting for 4 hours. Uncover;set aside and allow to cool(about 30 minutes). Serve slow cooker mixed berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream.
