Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (960 g) beef chuck, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 ½ cups (375 ml) beef broth
  • 1/2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 2 yellow onions, peeled and chopped
  • 1 rib celery, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Method

Step 1

Place cubed beef in a slow cooker.
