Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (960 g) pork roast, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup (125 g) soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

Step 1

Place sliced pork in slow cooker.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour mixture over pork chunks.

Step 3

Cover slow cooker and cook on high-heat setting for 4-6 hours.

Step 4

Remove cooked pork roast from the slow cooker. Drain off excess fat. Serve over the cooked rice.
