Slow cooker teriyaki pork tenderloin recipe. This pork recipe is so easy and very delicious. Pork loin with soy sauce, ginger, and spices cooked in a slow cooker.

Baked Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Pork tenderloin with soy sauce, dry sherry, and ginger baked in the oven.very simple and easy pork tenderloin recipe.

Makes 4 servings

1 whole pork tenderloin (2½ pounds (1.44 kg)), 1/2 cup (125 ml) reduced-sodium soy sauce, 1/4 cup (60 ml) dry sherry, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sliced green onions, 1 tablespoon (15 ml0 brown sugar, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) grated fresh ginger, 1 garlic clove, peeled and minced

Instructions: In a self-sealing bag, combine all ingredients, then seal the bag tightly and shake well. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 450º F (225º C). Remove marinated meat from the marinade, discarding leftover marinade. Place the meat in a roasting pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until pork loin is cooked through.

Turn off the oven and remove cooked pork loin. Transfer to a cutting board. Slice into thin slices. Serve over cooked rice or pasta.

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (960 g) pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 3 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 sprigs onions, finelly chopped
  • toasted sesame seeds

Method

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and onion powder. Mix well.

Step 2

Place the pork tenderloin in a container, then pour soy mixture over. Close and shake well. Marinate, covered, for ovenight.

Step 3

Remove marinated pork form the container and add to a slow coomer. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 4 hours.

Step 4

After 3 hours, remove the meat from the slow cooker and put aside. In a small mixing bowl, combine cornstarch and water. Mix until cornstarch is completely dissolved. Pour cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker and stir well to combine.

Step 5

Return the pork to the slow cooker. Cover the pot and cook for a further 1 hour.

Step 6

Turn off the slow cooker and open the lid. Remove cooked pork from the pot and transfer to a serving plate. Pour teriyaki sauce over. Slice the meat, then sprinkle with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds (optional). Enjoy!
