Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 pound (480 g) cod fillets, cut into strips

Method

Step 1

In a shallow bowl, combine eggs and milk. Beat well.

Step 2

In a separated shallow bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornmeal, seafood seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Step 3

Place breadcrumbs, on a plate. Dredge the cod strips, one at a time, in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and then in breadcrumbs.

Step 4

Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Place breaded cod fingers in the air fryer basket. Fry at 400 F (200 C) for 12 minutes, or until crispy. Serve hot.
