Ingredients
- 2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into stirps
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- cooking oil
- For the Cornflake Mix:
- 2Β½ cups cornflakes
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the chicken, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well. Set aside and allow it to sit for 1-2 hours.

In a small bowl, crush the cornflakes. Stir in all-purpose flour, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Step 3
Layout the seasoned chicken, all-purpose flour, beaten eggs, and cornflake mixture. Dip the chicken in the flour, then in eggs, then in cornflakes, making sure you coat the chicken well.
Step 4
Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray with cooking oil Cook at 350 F (175 C) for 10 minutes, then turn them over and continue cooking for a further 2-3 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Serve hot with ketchup.
