Air fryer crispy catfish fillets recipe. If you’re looking for a new way to cook fish, try this all-in-one crispy catfish fillets recipe. You can make it with or without an air fryer.
What can I use as a substitute for an air fryer?
An air fryer is a kitchen appliance that fries food by circulating hot air around it, which surrounds the food and cooks it from all sides. The hot air is circulated in a convection-like fashion so that the heat is distributed evenly.
You can use your oven for frying food, but you need to preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and then cook your food for about 10 minutes.
Should I wrap the catfish fillets before cooking them in an air fryer?
It is not necessary to wrap fillets of catfish in anything before cooking them in an air fryer.
Air fryers are designed to cook food by circulating hot air around it, which creates a crispy, browned crust on the outside. This method of cooking doesn’t require preheating the oven or using any oils or fats.
The only thing you need to do is place the fillets in a single layer in the basket and cook them for 16 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
