Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt. divided
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) buttermilk
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large sweet onion, peeled and cut into rings
Method
Step 1
In a shallow mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and paprika. Mix well and set aside.

In another mixing bowl, combine buttermilk and egg. Whisk well. Stir in 1/4 cup of the flour mixture.
