Air Fryer teriyaki chicken recipe. Learn how to cook delicious Asian chicken in an air fryer. Please note, the cooking time is just an estimate and can vary based on the Air Fryer model. I used my Kyvol air fryer to make this dish. I recommend to use Homemade Soy Sauce, to make this recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 pound (480 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
- For Teriyaki Sauce:
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
Method
Step 1
In a small mixing bowl, combine all sauce ingredients. Mix well.
Step 2
Pour the sauce over the chicken pieces. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 3
Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes. Grease the air fryer basket with olive.
Step 4
Spread marinated chicken pieces into the oiled basket. Set the temperature to 360 F (180 C) Fry for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Remove fired chicken from the fryer and transfer to a serving plate. Pour more teriyaki sauce over. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired. Serve hot.

Hello am I imagining that you’re instructing cooks to pour the marinade from the raw chicken onto the cooked chicken before serving? Without cooking the marinade or further cooking the chicken? Is that what I just read?🤔

Yes, you are absolutely right. This is not only marinade, this is the sauce too.

You can’t pour a marinade that had raw chicken onto the cooked chicken! Sooo unsanitary! Try setting aside 1/2 of the marinade BEFORE adding the chicken. Then use the set aside portion for the final step
