Ingredients

  • 1 pound (480 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • For Teriyaki Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Method

Step 1

In a small mixing bowl, combine all sauce ingredients. Mix well.

Step 2

Pour the sauce over chicken pieces. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 3

Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes. Grease the air fryer basket with olive.

Step 4

Spread marinated chicken pieces into oiled basket. Set the temperature to 360 F (180 C) Fry for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Remove fired chicken from the fryer and transfer to a serving plate. Pour more teriyaki sauce over. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired. Serve hot.
