Baked Oatmeal Wafers

Baked oatmeal wafers.Delicious dessert baked in convection oven.Very simple and easy!!!!


  • 1½ cups(375g) rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup(125 g) sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup(65g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup(125 g) unsalted margarine
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup


Step 1

Preheat oven to 375ºF(180ºC).

Step 2

Lightly grease 2 baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3

In a medium-size mixing bowl,combine the oats,all-purpose flour,brown sugar,ground cinnamon and salt. Mix well and set aside.

Step 4

In small nonstick skillet,melt the margarine over medium heat.

Step 5

Add melted margarine and maple syrup to the dry ingredients and mix well.

Step 6

Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets,spacing the wafers about 2-inches(5 cm) apart.

Step 7

Bake for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.

Step 8

Remove baked oatmeal wafers from the oven and let them firm up on the baking sheets for 2-3 minutes.
