Ingredients

  • zest of 2 oranges
  • zest of 2 limes
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh chopped basil
  • 60 large shrimp,peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Method

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine orange and lime zest, olive oil, and chopped basil. Stir well. Add shrimp and seasoning. Mix well and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Remove marinated shrimp from the marinade. Discard oil.

Step 3

Preheat your gas grill. Grill shrimp over medium heat until opaque and slightly charred(for about 2 minutes per side). Serve gas-grilled shrimp hot.
