Marinated tuna sashimi. Raw tuna marinated in wasabi and soy sauce mixture. Very tasty Japanese appetizer.

  • 14 oz (420 g) sashimi-grade tuna,trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons wasabi paste
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • lemon slices

Step 1

Using a wet, very sharp knife, slice trimmed tuna into 1/2-inch(1.25 cm) thick slices (cut across the grain). Wipe the knife on a damp cloth between each cut.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the wasabi and soy sauce. Mix well and add the sliced tuna. Turn tuna slices to coat. Set aside and let marinade for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Arrange marinated tuna sashimi on 4 serving plates. Garnish with lemon slices.
