Sashimi with carrot and soy sauce. Very easy, healthy, and tasty Japanese seafood recipe.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (240 g) freshtuna,skinless,rinsed and patted dry
  • 1 cup freshly grated carrots
  • 1 cup freshly grated daikon
  • mizuna leaves,to garnish
  • soy sauce
  • pickled gingerrot,to serve
  • lemon wedges,to serve
  • wasabi to serve

Method

Step 1

Wrap and chill raw tuna in the freezer for 1-2 hours,until it's stiff,but not frozen through.

Step 2

Using a sharp knife,cut fillet on the diagonal into 1/4-inch(0.6 cm) thick slices. Divide and arrange the slices on 4 serving plates.

Step 3

Arrange the freshly ground carrots,daikon,and mizuna on each plate. Serve sashimi with soy sauce,pickled gingerrot,wassabi and lemon wedges.
