Slow Cooker Herbed Chicken Breasts
Ingredients
- 6 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 clove garlic,peeled and crushed
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) dry white wine
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- lemon wedges for garnish
Method
Step 1
Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Place in a slow cooker.
Step 2
In a small mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour wine mixture over seasoned chicken.
Step 3
Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 5 hours.
Step 4
Serve herbed chicken breasts with lemon wedges.

How did you get the breasts browned?

Brown them in a skillet,on both sides, for 3-5 minutes per side.
