Slow cooker shredded chicken recipe. I prepared this super easy and very delicious 4-ingredients recipe in a slow cooker.
How Can You Use Shredded Chicken?
Use it in sandwiches, wraps, or quesadillas. Also, you can use it in soups, salads, casseroles, to make pizza, or even eat as is serving with sauce (I used Peanut Sauce) and fresh salad.

Use boneless and skinless chicken breasts or boneless and skinless thighs. Cooking time in a 6-quart (6 l) slow cooker is 7 hours. Keep shredded chicken for 3-4 days in the fridge and up to 2 months in the freezer.
Do you prefer to cook it faster? Use a pressure cooker instead.

Ingredients
- 4 boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) low-sodium chicken broth
- 3/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Method
Step 1
Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker. Pour in chicken broth, then sprinkle with seasoning.
Step 2
Cover the pot and cook on a low-heat setting for 6-7 hours or until chicken is tender.
Step 3
Turn off the slow cooker and open the lid. Using two forks, pull and shred the chicken in the liquid.
Step 4
Transfer to serving plates. Serve as desired.
