Ingredients
- 2 pounds (960g) chicken breasts and drumsticks, bone in
- 1 onion, peeled and sliced into rings
- 3/4 cup (180 g) low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup(80 ml) balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 5 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- chives, for garnish
- cooked rice
Method
Step 1
