Air fryer chicken livers recipe. This is a delicious recipe for chicken livers that you can cook in the air fryer. It’s really easy and healthy to make.
What are chicken livers, how do they taste and what do they look like?
Chicken livers are small, dark brown-purple organs that are often overlooked in the grocery store. They can be found in the poultry section of your grocery store. Chicken livers taste rich and meaty but they can be a little chewy. They are also high in protein and iron.
The health benefits of chicken livers include an increase in energy levels, better digestion, and improved sleep quality.
How to Cook Chicken Livers with an Air Fryer
This is a very easy recipe that most people can try.
All you need is an air fryer and some ingredients.
Step 1: Put the chicken livers in the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Cook for 10 minutes and then put them on a plate.
Step 3: Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cumin to taste.
Step 4: Pour some olive oil on top of the cooked chicken livers.
How to fry chicken livers without popping?
When cooking chicken livers, it’s important not to let them pop while they’re cooking. This can be done by using high-smoke-point oils (such as grapeseed oil) or those that are high in omega 3 such as olive oil.
You can also prevent them from popping by cooking below the temperature at which their natural fats begin to liquefy, which is about 135 degrees Fahrenheit.
But if you accidentally fry them at a higher temperature, the fats inside liquefy and make the sesame seeds sputter as they pop, giving them a nice browned taste. If you want to avoid this sputtering sound, try cooking at 275 degrees Fahrenheit instead of 350.
