Air fryer Crispy Asian beef recipe. These tasty beef strips are a great alternative to the greasy takeout version, and they’re ready in just ten minutes!
What are the health benefits of air frying meat?
Air frying is the process of deep-frying food in oil or fat with all surfaces of the food coming into contact with the heated air. This technique cooks the inside of food without using oil and is healthier than conventional pan-frying.
Despite being healthier, air-frying still does not have many benefits over a traditional oven. Air-frying doesn’t require as much time, so it can save cooking time and energy costs if cooking more than one meal at once. The temperature range for air fryers is shorter than regular ovens but this could be used as an advantage if you only want to cook something until it’s just done instead of completely cooked through.
What are some popular air fryer recipes?
Air fryers are a new trend in the kitchen. The results of air frying food are comparable to deep frying but with less oil. Air fryers work by circulating hot air around the food which makes the outside crispy and the inside moist.
Some popular air fryer recipes include:
– Shrimp

What is the best way to cook beef in an air fryer?
The best way to cook beef in an air fryer is to set the temperature at 360°F. This will give you a perfect texture and will take less time than any other cooking method. You can also cook your beef in the air fryer by slicing it thin, this way it will get cooked evenly on all sides. Finally, you should never use any type of oil because it will just drain out and get wasted.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) light beer
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) tamari sauce
- 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 pound (480 g) beef flank steak, sliced into strips
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) filtered water
Method
Step 1
In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and cook, stirring, until fragrant, for about 1 minute. Add the beer, tamari sauce, coconut sugar, ginger powder, and water. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for a further 3-4 minutes.
Step 2
Cover the skillet with a lid and set it aside. Keep warm.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice vinegar and sesame oil. Whisk well. Add beef strips and allow to marinate for about 10 minutes.
Step 4
Preheat your air fryer to 375 F (190 C) for 5 minutes. Remove marinated beef from the marinade and coat it with all-purpose flour.
Step 5
Arrange marinated meat in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Step 6
Remove fried beef strips from the fryer and transfer them to the skillet with reserved sauce. Mix well and bring the skillet to a low simmer. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes.
Step 7
Remove the beef mixture from the skillet and transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot.
