- 1 cup bulgur wheat
- 1 pound (480 g) ground beef
- 1½ cups (375 g) chopped fresh mint leaves
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 cup (250 ml) hot water
In a mixing bowl, combine wheat bulgur and water. Mix well and set aside. Allow to stay for at least 1 hour (overnight)
Once the wheat is softened, stir in ground beef, chopped mint leaves, and seasoning. Shape into small croquettes.
Place the beef croquettes in the air fryer basket. Fry at 392 F (195 C) for 18-20 minutes.
Remove fried kibbeh from the fryer and transfer to a serving plate. Serve hot.
