Ingredients
- 4 oz (120 g) Mexican chorizo, casing removed
- 1 medium yellow onion, peeled and chopped
- 3 gloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1 cup chopped tomato
- 2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (250 ml) half-and-half
- tortilla chips, for serving
Method
Step 1
In a baking pan, combine the chorizo, onion, garlic, tomatoes, jalapeños, and ground cumin. Stir well.
Step 2
Place the pan in the air fryer basket. Fry at 400 F (200 C) for 15 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked, stirring halfway through, breaking up the sausages.
Step 3
Add Mozzarella cheese and half-and-half. Stir well to combine.
Step 4
Continue frying at 400 F (200 C) for a further 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
Step 5
Serve with tortilla chips.
