What is the difference between a deep fryer and an air fryer?
A deep fryer involves submerging food in hot oil to cook it using the frying technique. It is an open vessel where the oil is placed right below the food. The air fryer uses a different technique that uses hot air to cook the food instead of submerging it in oil. This results in a healthier option as there are no added fats.
A deep fryer can be used for anything from french fries, onion rings, fried eggs, apple pies, and profiteroles to shrimp tempura or breaded pork chops.
