- 1 pound (480 g) chicken drumsticks
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Place chicken drumsticks in a large bowl. Pour enough water to cover the chicken, then add 1/2 teaspoon salt. Allow to stay for 15 minutes in room temperature. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.
In another small medium bowl, combine olive oil, curry powder, garlic powder, onion salt, and remaining salt. Stir well. Add chicken drumsticks and toss well to coat.
Working in batches, place chicken in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400 F (200 C) for 5-15 minutes, turning once halfway through.
Remove fried drumsticks from the fryer. Serve hot.
