Ingredients

  • 3 12 oz (360 g) packages frozen green beans, thawed
  • 1 medium yellow onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1 pound (480 g) ground beef or pork
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pimento seeded and chopped
  • 1 cup (250 ml) water

Method

Step 1

In a large nonstick skillet, brown chopped onions and ground pork over medium heat.

Meanwhile, in another nonstick skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Crumble it. When the pork mixture is done, drain well.

Step 3
