Ingredients

  • 4 medium baked apples
  • 1/2 cup (125 g) chopped mixed dried fruits
  • 4 tablespoons chopped toasted pecans
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoons cold margarine,cubed

Method

Step 1

Core apples, cutting to, but not through, bottoms. Peel 1-inch (2,5 cm) from the tops.

Step 2

Stuff apples with combined remaining ingredients. Place in slow cooker.

Step 3

Cover slow cooker and cook on high-heat setting for 1 ½-2 hours or until apples are tender.
