Slow cooker barbecued spareribs. Ribs with tomato soup, soy sauce, and spices cooked in a slow cooker. Very delicious and easy. Use as a starter or main dish.
- 4 pounds (1.92 kg) country-style spareribs,cut into serving-size pieces
- 1 can (10 ¾ oz (355 ml)) tomato soup
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup (125 g) brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- cayenne pepper
Place spareribs in slow cooker. In a mixing bowl,combine remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour mixture over ribs.
Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 6-8 hours. Skim fat from juices before swerving. Serve barbecued spareribs hot.
