Egg yolk, egg, heavy cream, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice

Slow Cooker Pumpkin Creme Brulee Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Method

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, combine egg yolk and beaten egg. Whisk well. Slowly pour in heavy creamy, whisking continuously. Stir in pumpkin puree and vanilla, mixing to incorporate. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well, then stir dry mixture into the liquid mixture.

Step 3

Fill two shallow ramekins with mixture, then place on the bottom of the slow cooker. Carefully pour the water around ramekins. Cover the pot and cook on low-heat setting for 2-3 hours or until briulee is set.

Step 4

Turn off the cooker and open the lid. Remove ramekins from the pot and transfer to a wire rack. Cool to the room temperature.
